If you have spent any time in cricket circles online, you have seen the phrase “online cricket ID” and the newer searches for Lotus 365 book ID, Lotus 365 ID and Lotus book ID. These terms are everywhere during IPL season, T20 weekends and live match nights, which is exactly why so many bad operators try to sound legit. This guide explains what you are really getting, what a trustworthy desk will ask for, and the signals that should make you close the chat fast.
What an online cricket ID actually is
A gaming ID is a username and password on a betting platform, issued to you by an agent or desk rather than created through a public signup page. The desk handles onboarding and acts as your point of contact for deposits, withdrawals and problems. When people look for a Lotus 365 book ID or cricket ID, they are usually trying to get into live markets, IPL odds or casino access as quickly as possible.
That is the whole product. It is not a tip service, it is not a guaranteed-return scheme, and it does not give you access to information other players lack. Anyone selling it as more than an account with a support channel is selling you something else.
The one-line version: you are paying for convenience and a human to talk to. You are not buying an edge. Nobody can sell you an edge.
The process, step by step
With any desk worth using — including ours — the sequence is short and looks like this:
- You make contact. Usually WhatsApp. You say you want an ID and which sports or games you actually play.
- Age and location check. You confirm you are 18 or over and that betting is permitted where you live. A desk that skips this step is telling you something about how it operates.
- Credentials are issued. A username and password arrive in the same chat, typically inside five minutes.
- You fund the balance yourself. UPI, IMPS or bank transfer, in an amount you choose. Opening the ID should cost nothing.
- You withdraw on the same channel. Same chat, same people, same terms you were quoted before you deposited.
Anything materially longer or more complicated than this is worth questioning. There is no legitimate reason for an ID to take a day, or to require three separate people, or to be contingent on a “registration fee”.
What you should never hand over
This is the part that costs people money, so read it twice. No legitimate operator, agent or support desk anywhere in the world needs any of the following:

A request for any of these is not a misunderstanding or an unusual policy. It is an attempt to take your money, and the correct response is to stop replying and block the number.
Seven red flags
- Guaranteed wins or “fixed” matches. These do not exist. The promise is the scam.
- A fee to open the ID. Onboarding is free at any desk operating normally.
- Pressure to deposit immediately. Urgency is a sales tactic, and here it is usually a warning.
- Withdrawal conditions that appear after you win. Terms should be stated before your first deposit, not invented afterwards.
- No age check at all. A desk that will take a 16-year-old’s money will take yours in worse ways too.
- A brand name that is almost, but not quite, a well-known one. Lookalike names and domains are the oldest trick in this market — the intent is to borrow someone else’s reputation.
- Support that disappears when you ask a hard question. Test this before you deposit, not after.
The legality question
This needs a direct answer rather than a comfortable one. Gambling law in India is set largely at state level, and it varies enormously. Several states prohibit online betting outright, and the position in others is contested or changing. Advertising rules under the IT Rules add another layer.
Nobody on a WhatsApp desk — including ours — is qualified to tell you whether participation is lawful for you personally. Check the position in your own state before you take part, and if it does not permit this, do not participate. If you need certainty, the only sound advice is to speak to a lawyer in your jurisdiction.
Before your first deposit
Run this checklist. It takes two minutes and it filters out most bad actors:
- Ask what the withdrawal process and timeline are — get it in writing, in the chat.
- Deposit a small amount first, then withdraw part of it before depositing more.
- Ask them to set a deposit limit for you. Note how they react to the question.
- Confirm nothing on your side requires an OTP, PIN or screen share.
- Decide your loss limit for the month before you start, not during.
